Confidentiality and Privacy

Hill Care Health is committed to maintaining client confidentiality. All personal and medical information shared during sessions is confidential, in compliance with HIPAA (or applicable privacy regulations).

Exceptions to confidentiality apply when required by law (e.g., in cases of imminent harm, child or elder abuse, or court orders).
Informed Consent

Clients will be provided with all relevant information regarding treatment methods, potential risks, benefits, and alternatives.

Clients must provide written consent before engaging in treatment, and they retain the right to withdraw from services at any time without penalty.
Appointment and Cancellation Policy

Clients are required to attend scheduled appointments. If an appointment needs to be canceled or rescheduled, Hill Care Health requires at least 24-48 hours' notice.

Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee, which will be charged to the client.
Fees and Payment

Hill Care Health will clearly outline fees for services, including therapy sessions, assessments, and any other charges.

Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements are made. Clients will be informed of acceptable payment methods (e.g., cash, credit, insurance).

Insurance may be accepted, but it is the client’s responsibility to ensure coverage and make any necessary co-payments.
Scope of Services

Hill Care Health provides services within the boundaries of its practitioners' qualifications and specialties. This may include individual therapy, group therapy, psychiatric services, and more.

If a client requires services beyond the scope of Hill Care Health, they may be referred to an appropriate specialist or facility.
Client Responsibility

Clients are expected to actively participate in their treatment plan, including following through on treatment goals and attending sessions as agreed.

Clients must provide accurate and complete information regarding their medical history, current conditions, and any medications they are taking.
Termination of Services

Either Hill Care Health or the client may terminate services. Hill Care Health may choose to terminate services if:

The client fails to attend sessions or comply with treatment plans.

The client’s condition requires treatment outside of the practice’s expertise.

Ethical or professional boundaries are violated.

When possible, adequate notice and referrals to alternative providers will be provided in the event of termination.
Emergency and Crisis Situations

Hill Care Health is not an emergency service provider. In the event of an emergency or crisis (e.g., suicidal ideation or immediate risk of harm), clients should contact emergency services (911) or go to the nearest hospital.

After-hours contact information may be provided for urgent, non-emergency matters, but this is at the discretion of the practice.
